Initial pump had problems for
years, - high vibrations (over 0.6 in/sec!), multiple repairs with no
significant improvements, and flow problems, - until Pumping Machinery
design and upgrade team was contacted. The pump was not simply repaired, but
re-engineered with significant design modifications. The now installed
upgraded pump is in operation, with low vibrations (around 0.15 in/sec).
Plant maintenance and operations are very satisfied with the results, and
the efforts by Pumping Machinery people.
